Aurelia Graduate Program
Our Graduate Program is a two-year structured development pathway designed to build the next generation of mining professionals through hands-on experience in live operating environments.
Graduates are embedded into operational and technical teams across the business, gaining exposure to underground mining, technical services, processing, maintenance, geology, and corporate functions depending on discipline.
This is a practical, supportive, work-based development experience where you will contribute to real operational outcomes while building your technical capability, confidence, and understanding of the mining industry.
Your development is supported through structured rotations, mentoring, on-the-job learning, and exposure to experienced leaders across the business, giving you a strong foundation for a long-term and rewarding career in mining.

About the role
This is not a “watch and learn” graduate program.
This is a Graduate Program where you are part of the operating mine from day one.
We are offering a structured development pathway designed to build confident, capable professionals through real underground and surface experience, working alongside experienced teams in live operational environments.
From the outset, you will be supported to take on meaningful work, contributing to day-to-day operations, supporting production outcomes, and building practical capability in a real mining environment.
This is where theory becomes real work.
Roster: 8/6, 12-hour days (dayshift only)
Location: Peak / Federation Mines, NSW
Program length: 2-years
About you
We are looking for graduates ready to transition from study into a real, fast-paced mining environment.
You will bring:
Recently completed or near completion of a relevant tertiary qualification (within the last 12 months)
Strong interest in the mining or resources industry
A genuine willingness to learn through hands-on experience
A driven, curious mindset with a positive and collaborative approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, safety-focused mindset
A current manual driver’s licence (or equivalent)
Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
Prior industry experience (such as vacation work or site exposure) is high regarded
